I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.

In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are and supporting their growth, healing, and meaningful change. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and empowerment, with a focus on helping clients reach goals that feel authentic and achievable.

I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, disability, trauma, substance use, and chronic health challenges. My work is informed by a structural and anti-oppressive lens, recognizing the impact of inequality and systemic barriers. I value the diversity of people’s identities, cultures, and life experiences, offering an inclusive and affirming space.

My counselling approach is practical and compassionate. Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a foundation, I help clients build tools to reduce stress and anxiety and increase contentment. I also draw from Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Exposure Therapy to tailor our work to each client’s needs.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy cycling, studying Japanese, exploring local parks, and spending time with my two daughters.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) and a graduate of City University’s Master of Counselling program. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent fifteen years in the non-profit and social services sectors, supporting diverse communities through complex mental health challenges and life crises.

Most recently, I’ve worked as a crisis responder, helping individuals and families navigate sudden and unexpected events, as well as clients facing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship issues, and grief.

I’m passionate about exploring human potential—from advances in neurobiology to the wisdom of ancient traditions. Whether you’re seeking healing, deeper connection, or personal growth, I’m here to support you.

Outside of counselling, I love music, creativity, nature, and staying active. You’ll often find me rollerskating, running by the Alouette River, or spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I’m also deeply committed to human rights and social justice.
