Hi, I’m Reagan. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, I now live in Vancouver. I studied Philosophy and Psychology in Seattle before earning my Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. With this background, I’m equipped to help guide you through the complex journey of being human.
Compassionate and Personalized Support I’m committed to providing caring and thoughtful support as we navigate challenges together. By exploring your emotions, thoughts, and relationships, I hope to help you connect more deeply with your values and live more authentically. I aim to create a warm and welcoming space in each session, recognizing that starting counselling takes courage. I feel honoured to walk this path with you toward a more fulfilling life.
Experience and Approach My experience working with university students, crisis intervention, and charity work has shown me how we all seek love, understanding, and safety, while also having unique stories shaped by our identities and cultures. I personalize my approach to meet you where you are, honoring both the universal and unique aspects of your journey.
A Little About Me When I’m not at Counsel Me Vancouver, you’ll often find me lifting weights, relaxing by the ocean, dancing, watching movies, or spending time with my cat, Vida. I also love laughing with friends and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
My counselling approach focuses on being aware of trauma, building strong relationships, and using hands-on techniques. I use a mix of proven methods, such as:
Existential-Humanistic therapy (which explores life’s meaning and personal growth),
Somatic Experiencing (which helps people heal from trauma by working with the body), and
Internal Family Systems (a way to understand and heal different parts of ourselves).
I’m also committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and continuing my education through advanced training. With this broad, research-based approach, I aim to provide personalized and well-rounded support for each client. I have experience helping young adults and adults with a wide range of issues, such as supporting LGBTQ2SIA+ individuals, anxiety, depression, managing emotions, grief, trauma, life changes, university stress, and deeper life questions about purpose and meaning. It’s an honor to be here for you during this time in your life. I’m ready to support you as an ally, advocate, and someone you can trust.

I am a Registered Professional Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. I’ve achieved a Professional Counsellor Diploma from Rhodes Wellness College, a Community Support in Mental Health Diploma, as well as a degree in Public Relations and Mass Communications from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
I am passionate about holistic wellbeing which I believe encompasses mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. I therefore like to explore all these areas of my client’s wellbeing to ensure that their pain is fully addressed. I also works as a teaching assistant at my counselling college, Rhodes Wellness College, where I support counselling therapy students.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked as a mental health coach where I provided individual support to clients while implementing various modalities to meet their needs. I also worked as a community support worker helping youth who are neurodiverse and who struggled to assimilate into mainstream society. Through this work, I ensured these youth felt more connected and settled in their communities by teaching them tools and guiding them through their personal challenges. My past work and personal experiences ultimately led me to pursue formal training as a counsellor because I wanted to be better equipped to help people. Once I completed my counselling program, I immediately began working in classrooms, building therapeutic workshops and working one-on-one in client settings.
I am a firm believer that counselling therapy does not have to feel overwhelming and with the right support, it can be the most beneficial tool to a person’s healing process. The therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client is one that I hold in high regard and I believe through this connection, individuals can learn the fundamentals of trust, healthy connection, and develop confidence within themselves. I use a variety of research-based techniques and modalities that support and empower clients through an array of life’s challenges. While collaborating to understand the root causes of a client’s pain, I tailor my approach to each individual to help them gain self-awareness and pursue personal growth.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you may find me outside exploring BC with my small dog, Chance (who has a big personality!), reading books, catching sunsets and enjoying quality time with close family and friends.
